Contact Us : bcec@braggcreek.ca

The Bragg Creek Environmental Coalition Foundation (BCEC) incorporated as a not for profit society in 1995. The roots of this organization go back to as early as 1987 when concerned residents of Bragg Creek joined together to object to a massive logging project in the West Bragg Creek area.

Regular monthly information meetings are held.

Moose Mountain Dialogue

Bragg Creek Environmental Coalition has been in dialogue with Shell and Husky for several years in a partnership effort to minimize development operations near Bragg Creek. The result is several changes to operations and the introduction of programs that benefit the environment. Read about it here in a presentation (PDF 861KB) given to the Bow River Basin Council in December 2004.
